The Draper Police Department serves a community of approximately 51,000 residents and covers an area of roughly 30 square miles. The department operates 24 hours a day, seven days per week. Our department is composed of 52 sworn officers, 15 civilian staff members, and 44 part-time crossing guards. 

We are dedicated to serving this community with integrity, compassion, and respect. We implement best practices and training, and pride ourselves on providing professional police service, keeping our neighborhoods free from crime and the fear of crime, and safeguarding the civil liberties of all.
