Pie Baking Contest
Come show off your baking skills with a delicious pie! Pie drop-off and judging take place at the south pavilion at Draper Park. A panel of judges will decide the winners at 3:00 PM.

- Chiefs’ Choice
Awards
- All category winners receive a plaque
- Best-in-show 1st place also receives a $100 gift card to GyGi’s
Rules
- Pies submitted must be homemade from scratch and cannot use a store-bought crust or pie filling
- One pie can win more than one award
- Pies submitted must include a recipe with the list of ingredients
- Pies submitted must be in a 9 in. disposable pan and be contained in a plastic bag or covered with a plastic lid
- Pies should be delivered no more than 60 minutes before the start of the event
- Whole pies must be submitted
- Pies requiring refrigeration will not be accepted
Judging
- Judging takes place at 3:00 PM
- This is a blind judging — pies will be identified by number only
- All decisions of the judges are final
- Winners will be announced immediately after judging is complete
- Bakers must be present to win
