Sign up for Alerts and Notifications
Draper City uses a citywide communication system called Notify Draper. You can sign up to get information from Draper City through email or text messages. If you register your phone number, it will also be used for emergency voice calls. After you sign up, you can choose how you want to be contacted, manage the types of messages you receive, and update your contact information whenever you need to.
We strongly suggest that you provide a phone number and address so we can send you emergency notifications. This information can be very helpful for emergency workers during an incident. Addresses are also used to send alerts to specific areas that might be affected by an emergency, even if other parts of Draper are not.
The types of messages you can choose to receive through Notify Draper include:
- Emergency Alerts
- Traffic and Construction Alerts
- City News and Events
- Public Meetings
- Job Openings
- Weather Alerts (everyone already signed up should automatically get severe weather alerts, but you can change the types of weather alerts you receive by creating an account)
If you want the information but prefer not to get texts or emails, you can download the Everbridge app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
