Draper City is proposing a property tax increase for the 2026-27 fiscal year. A Truth in Taxation meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall on Wednesday, August 12, at 6:00 PM. The meeting can also be accessed virtually at bit.ly/drapertaxhearing. Property Tax Details
Qualifications to Run for Office:
General Election:
Draper City's Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, as a vote-by-mail election, administered by Salt Lake County.
Draper City Hall will serve as an official vote center. A secure ballot drop box is available in the south parking lot of Draper City Hall for convenient ballot drop-off until 8:00 PM on November 4. Please note - there is no ballot drop off inside of City Hall prior to Election Day.
If you need assistance on Election Day, poll workers will be in the city council chambers from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on November 4.

Voters should be aware that, due to new state legislation, vote-by-mail ballots must be received by Salt Lake County by November 4, 2025, at 8:00 PM for your vote to count. In addition to being mailed, ballots can be dropped off at a vote center (7:00 AM – 8:00 PM) on Election Day or a ballot drop box location (through 8:00 PM on November 4).
November 18, 2025: Board of Canvassers certifies general election results.
