Summer Youth Theater Workshop
This music, dance, and theater workshop is led by three amazing theater teachers. Students are organized by age group and will be improving their acting, singing, and dancing skills. These sessions are open for kids ages 6-14, but are limited to 60 participants, finalized with a free family performance at the Draper Amphitheater!
Date and Time
June 10 - 14, 17-19, 1:00 - 4:00 PM at the American Preparatory Academy, Campus 3 (11938 Lone Peak Pkwy)
June 20 & 21, 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Draper Amphitheater (944 Vestry Road)
Cost
6 - 7: $90; this group only attends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM daily (in addition to the two evening rehearsals)
8 - 14: $180
Details
- Daily snack and T-shirt included
- Participants will receive a printed script
- All participants will get a speaking part, and within registration can select if they'd like a featured singing part
- Participants will get a chance to design and create their own costumes — we will have some resources, but participants will potentially need to provide some items from home (ideally at no cost — get creative!)
- Participants cannot have any absences
