Broadway Family Favorites | City of Draper

This beloved musical variety show returns in August at the Draper Amphitheater. This musical variety show is composed of songs from Broadway shows, tied together by an original script. This year's show is subtitled Happily Never After.

Directed by Valaura Arnold with choreography by Jessica Yergensen, gates open at 7:30 PM, show begins at 8:00 PM.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on April 27 at American Preparatory Academy, Campus 3 (431 W 11915 S, Draper, UT 84020) in the upstairs dance and choir rooms. All ages are encouraged to come prepared to sing a verse and chorus. An accompanist will be provided. (Minus tracks from your device are acceptable.)

Broadway Family Favorites Audition Registration

9:00 - 10:00 AM — Children aged 11 and under (No age limits when alongside a parent; children 12 and under need a guardian in the show with them)
10:00 - 11:00 AM — Women age 18 and older
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM — Men age 18 and older
12:00 - 1:00 PM — Teens age 12-17
1:30 - 3:00 PM — Callbacks (by invitation only)

If you are unable to attend auditions, video submissions are allowed. Note that in-person auditions will have precedent. Submit a video singing two differing song styles, save them to YouTube (private or otherwise), and email that video audition link to the producer by 8:00 PM on April 26.

The Cast Meeting and First Rehearsal will be held on Saturday, May 25. A detailed rehearsal calendar will be forthcoming.
