Orchid Frost Spotted Deadnettle

Plant Details

Plant Type: Perennial
Plant Family: Lamiaceae
Plant Description: Herbaceous perennial with very attractive silver grey foliage. Dramatic contrast with the masses of small, tubular orchid pink flowers in whorl. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies, and birds.

Maintenance

Perennial - Herbaceous (soft-stemmed plants that die in winter and regrow in spring): Remove spent blooms and promote rebloom later. Some plants tend to flop over after the first bloom and attempt to regrow from the base; in these cases, the old stems can be cut away in the summer. As plants become dormant in the fall, remove dead leaves and stems.
