Plant Description: Native to China, Anemones have been cultivated in Japan for hundreds of years. Well suited for borders, cottage gardens, coastal gardens, or naturalized areas such as prairies or meadows. Japanese Anemones bring life in the late summer garden and persist to contribute to the crescendo of fall.


Bulb (ornamental bulbous plants, typically spring0blooming and otherwise dormant): Remove spent blooms once they begin to fade. Cut back leaves to the ground once they begin to die.
