Fireworks restrictions have changed for July 2026. Personal fireworks will not be permitted in any area of Draper for the period that would normally be allowed for the Independence Day holiday - July 2 to 5.
Residents in Draper and across Salt Lake and Utah Counties are seeing heavy smoke and ash in the sky. There are no fires currently in Draper or adjacent cities.

Due to ongoing severe drought conditions, the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District (JVWCD) and its member agencies, including Draper City, have adopted a Level 2 water availability for communities across the region.
