Draper City is governed by a Mayor and City Council who Draper residents elect. The Mayor and City Council act together as the Governing Body. All Governing Body members serve four-year terms. As elected representatives of the people, the Governing Body adopts all ordinances and resolutions and determines the general goals and policies.
City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month unless otherwise noted. The study meeting begins at 5:30 PM and the business meeting (public hearings and action items) begins at 7 PM. A live audio broadcast is available, with the recording posted after the meeting.
