Public Hearing: Proposed Tax Increase - Utah County Area of Draper City

NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE FOR THE UTAH COUNTY AREA OF DRAPER CITY

The CITY OF DRAPER is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.

- The DRAPER CITY tax on a $763,000 residence would increase from $392.79 to $428.88, which is $36.09 per year.

- The DRAPER CITY tax on a $763,000 business would increase from $714.17 to $779.79, which is $65.62 per year.

- If the proposed budget is approved, DRAPER CITY would receive an additional $44,929 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, DRAPER CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 12.98% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.

- The CITY OF DRAPER invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or online.

All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
