Fall Soccer 2023



Featuring smaller team sizes for more involved play, improved skills, more shots and scoring, the Fall Soccer program is a great way to learn and build perseverance, teamwork skills, and make new friends.


Boys and girls in Pre-K - 7th grade (2023/2024 school year). Must be registered for the grade entering into in the Fall of 2023.


Games begin the week of August 21, 2023. The coaches meeting is planned for Thursday August 10, 2023. Practices will be held at the discretion of the coaches.


5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. rotating times. Last two weeks will start at 5:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.

You choose the day. Subject to availability; first come, first serve. Please be aware that if a name has been placed on a roster, from a coach, we cannot hold this spot unless registration is complete. If the league fills, despite names on roster, you will be placed on a waitlist and not guaranteed to participate.

*Grades/days may be altered due to enrollment and are subject to change. Practices days/times are scheduled by each coach if used and not by the Parks & Recreation Department. 

Online registration is available for individual registrations only until 11:59 p.m. on July 21, 2023; link is on the top right of this page. Registration may also be done in person at the Parks & Recreation Office (12354 S 800 E) until 5:00 p.m. on July 21, 2023. Some days/locations may fill before the registration deadline. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged for all registrations received after 5:00 p.m. on July 21, 2023, if space is available.

If you are registering with a friend or as a team, registration can be done in person and all registration forms brought in together and attached. Team requests may be requested online if registration notes are added before the registration deadline. Please email or call to make us aware of any notes or changes that need to be made. If you are registering with four or more requests or as a team, a team roster must also be submitted with the registration forms and a head coach listed (see below for forms).

Team Formation 

Teams will be formed according to Canyons School District boundaries, or preferred school choice as much as possible. Those wishing to request friends to be on the same team must register in person and staple registration forms together. Registrations with four or more requests require a volunteer coach and the pre-formed team roster to be filled out and brought in with registrations.

Benefits of "Small Sided Soccer" 

All play will be "small sided soccer". This type of play is best for recreational leagues by providing more playing time, more "touches" on the ball, more shots, more scoring, better passing, more development opportunities, more "one on one" time with coach, better utilization of fields, more opportunity for exercise, etc.

Program Registration Refund Policy

  • A $10.00 bookkeeping fee is non-refundable for each program/registration.
  • Refund requests made before the registration period/deadline has ended will receive a full refund minus the $10.00 bookkeeping fee.
  • After the registration period/deadline has ended, a refund of 50% of program fee will be offered.
  • No refunds will be offered once the program has started, beginning with the first class, first lesson, coaches meeting, etc.
