What:

Features smaller team sizes for more involved play, improved skills, more shots and scoring, etc.

Who:

Boys and girls in Pre-K - 9th grade (2021/2022 school year). Must be registered for the grade entering  into in the Fall of 2021.

When:

 
Games begin the week of August 16, 2021.  The coaches meeting will be held on August 9, 2021.
Practices will be held at the discretion of the coaches. 

Times: 

5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. rotating times. Last two weeks will start at 5:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.


Where:

**Please be aware that if a name has been placed on a roster, from a coach, we cannot hold this spot unless registration is complete. If the league fills, despite names on roster, you will be placed on a waitlist and not guaranteed to participate.

May 5, 2021 through July 2, 2021 extended to July 5 at 11:59 p.m. for online registrations.   If you are volunteering to be a coach, please fill out team roster and email it to: recreation@draperutah.gov.   Late fee of $10 will be added after July 5, 2021.

Registration for Fall Soccer is closed.  Please contact us after Tuesday, July 20, as there may be limited spots available for late registration.  recreation@draperutah.gov

Online registration is available for individual registrations only until 11:59 p.m. on July 2, 2021; link is on the top right of this page. Registration may also be done in person at the Draper Parks & Recreation Office (1020 E. Pioneer Rd., bottom floor, enter on the west side) until 5:00 p.m. on July 2, 2021. Some days/locations may fill before the registration deadline. Register early! A $10.00 late fee will be added after the registration deadline, if space is available.

If you are registering with a friend or as a team, registration must be done in person and all registration forms brought in together and attached. If you are registering with four or more requests or as a team, a team roster must also be submitted with the registration forms and a head coach listed (see below for forms). 

Please do not make requests to play on a team or with a specific player online as they may not be seen and are not guaranteed. If making requests you must do so in person with all forms together. Thank you!

Team Formation:

 
Teams will be formed according to public elementary school (Canyon District) boundaries or preferred school choice as much as possible. Those wishing to request friends to be on the same team must register in person and staple registration forms together. Registrations with four or more requests require a volunteer coach and the pre-formed team roster to be filled out and brought in with registrations. 


Benefits of "Small Sided Soccer":

 
All play will be "small sided soccer". This type of play is best for recreational leagues by providing more playing time, more "touches" on the ball, more shots, more scoring, better passing, more development opportunities, more "one on one" time with coach, better utilization of fields, more opportunity for exercise, etc.

Program Registration Refund Policy:

  • A $10.00 bookkeeping fee is non-refundable for each program/registration.
  • Refund requests made before the registration period/deadline has ended will receive a full refund minus the $10.00 bookkeeping fee.
  • After the registration period/deadline has ended, a refund of 50% of program fee will be offered.
  • No refunds will be offered once the program has started, beginning with the first class, first lesson, coaches meeting, etc.
