Amphitheater

Draper City manages an 1,800-seat amphitheater that hosts concerts, plays, movies, and other events. Learn More → 

Community Events

Our department hosts several community events throughout the year such as the International Arts & Crafts Festival, Haunted Hollow, Candy Cane Hunt, and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The major event of the year is Draper Days in partnership with the Draper Community Foundation. The event is held in July and features park activities, a parade, concerts, sporting events and fireworks. View All Events  →

Parks

We manage more than 40 parks throughout the city. Some parks are large community parks such as Galena Park and South Fork Park, while others are known as "pocket parks" found dotted in neighborhoods. The Parks Department is in charge of maintaining and managing the parks and facilities. Residents may reserve parks, pavilions and playing fields. Learn More →

Recreation Programs

The department puts on sports and activity programs for youth and adults throughout the year. Programs include soccer, softball, wrestling, tennis, winter snowshoeing, kickball, mountain biking, pickleball, and more. Learn More →

Trails & Open Space

Draper features the most trails and largest open space out of any city along the Wasatch Front with 117 miles of scenic trails and 4,077 acres of open space. A variety of trails is available for different outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, dog walking and more. Draper is also the only city with trails that look out at both Salt Lake Valley and Utah Valley. Learn More →
