Draper Canal Trail

Overview

This trail has a main loop section that's 2.8 miles and a north trail that's 0.5 miles. The main loop is a paved and dirt trail rated at an easy level for hikers, bikers, and equestrian use. It can be accessed from the Sadler, Meadowlark Park, and Southridge Park trailheads. It breaks off from the Porter Rockwell Trail and runs along the historic canal corridor. The north section of this trail is also an easy-rated paved and dirt trail for multi-use. It can be accessed from Deer Hollow Park, and runs along the historic canal corridor from Deer Hollow Park to Relation Street.

To get to the Sadler Trailhead from I-15:

1. Take exit 288 for UT-140 toward 14600 So
2. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Draper
3. Turn right onto UT-140 E
4. Continue onto Highland Dr
5. Turn left onto E 13200 S
6. Turn left onto Akagi Ln
7. Destination is on the left
