Cherry Canyon Trail

Overview

Cherry Canyon Trail is a dirt/wilderness trail loop with Trail of the Eagle Trail and access to Lone Peak that's available for hiking and equestrian use. 

This trail is rated as very difficult. A total of 3.49 miles, it is accessible via the Orson Smith and East Bench Trailheads, both of which have restrooms available for use.

How to Get There

To get to the Orson Smith Trailhead from I-15:

1. Take exit 291 for UT-71/12300 South and continue straight for one mile
2. Turn right onto 900 E
3. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto E 12400 S/Pioneer Rd
4. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit and stay on Pioneer Rd
 5. Continue onto Highland Dr. Destination is on the left.
