
Draper Parks & Recreation is pleased to offer its seventh year of after-school science classes!
What:
An exciting after-school science class. Every week on Monday students participate in fun, hands-on experiments.
Lab Includes:
Phantastic Physics: In this class, students will perform hands-on experiments to explore exiting physics topics like Newton's law of motion, thermodynamics, lasers, and light.
Experiments include:
- Fire Bubbles
- Instant Freeze Dry Ice Experiments
- Marble Roller Coasters
- Smoke Ring Bazookas
- Dancing Green Lasers
Who:
Boys and girls in grades Kindergarten - 6 grade (2022/2023 school year)
When:
Mondays beginning January 30 for 6 weeks.
Dates include:
January 30, February 6, 13, and 27, March 6, and 13. Excluding February 20 for Presidents Day.
Time:
Two times are available: 4:30pm - 5:30pm and 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Where:
Day Barn Indoor Pavilion (1166 E. Pioneer Rd., in Draper)
Cost:
$85 for 6 classes
Registration:
October 3, 2022 to January 25, 2023 (Or until full, limited space!)
Online registration is available. Registration may also be done in person at the Draper Parks & Recreation Office (12354 S 800 E)
Program Registration Refund Policy:
- A $10.00 bookkeeping fee is non-refundable for each program/registration.
- Refund requests made before the registration period/deadline has ended will receive a full refund minus the $10.00 bookkeeping fee.
- After the registration period/deadline has ended, a refund of 50% of program fee will be offered.
- No refunds will be offered once the program has started, beginning with the first class, first lesson, coaches meeting, etc.
