Ranked as one of the best cities to live in the country, Draper is known for our well-managed municipal services, safe neighborhoods, top-tier schools, economic opportunities, and access to open space and recreational activities.
The 2021 Draper City Municipal Election will be held on November 2, 2021 to elect two City Councilmembers and one Mayor. In this election, Draper City is participating in Ranked Choice Voting, in place of the traditional plurality (or winner-take-all) voting system. Ranked Choice Voting eliminates the primary election, and therefore changes the Declaration of Candidacy period from June to August.
With more than 4,000 acres of open space and 100+ miles of trails, Draper has a unique trail system that is great for families, hikers, bikers, runners, and equestrians. Check out our interactive trails map and directory.
